The NURSERY is available downstairs every Sunday, for children ages 2-5 years, and the Infant nursery is upstairs.

HEY KIDS!!  Check out the brand new “PEW PALS” in the basket outside the Sanctuary doors.  Be sure to pick up a Pew Pal to prepare for peaceful play and prayer in your pew!!  Please drop your bag in the container marked “used” as you leave the Sanctuary, so it can be refilled for next week!

Member Directories:  Barbara McKinney is hoping to begin work on updating the member directory soon.  If you have had a change of name, address, or phone number since the last printing, please let Barbara know so your information will be correct in the directory.

Prayer Chains:
Lou Gordon is in charge of the e-mail prayer chain.   If you have a prayer request, either call  or e-mail Lou at LGordon1@cinci.rr.com, and he will implement the chain. If Lou can not be contacted, call Barbara at the office.

Is there a family in your congregation who may be interested in hosting an exchange student for the 2008-2009 school year?  The Council on International Educational Exchange (CIEE) is looking for host families from the Cincinnati area.  The Area Director, Judy Ross, lives in Northside and is a friend of North Presbyterian Church.  She would love to place her students in a home that is able to provide a welcome for two non-Christian students.

Anastasiya Vynohrdadova, age 16, is from the Ukraine. She loves doing puzzles, plays the guitar, is an aspiring journalist, and says she is “modest, but not shy... you won't have any troubles with me, I promise.”

Haykuhl Avetisyan, age 15, is from Armenia. She likes playing basketball, drama, and would like to stay with a family with a girl her age, because she hopes “we'll be good friends and sisters.”

Interested? Know someone who might be?  Have questions?  Contact Rev. Erwin Goedicke, North Presbyterian Church (erwinfg@fuse.net).

Llanfair Crafters need used Christmas cards.  Please give them to Harriet Gregg

Prayer Cards
- There are now prayer request cards in the pews and in the Narthex that you can fill out at any time during the week or before the Sunday service. When you are finished, place the card in the basket by the Pulpit, and your prayer will be included in the prayers of intercession during the service. Please note that Marsha will still ask for prayer requests.

Want to know what’s happening and when?  Now you can check the Master Calendar for the entire year.  A calendar-for-the-year has been hung on the wall next to the Secretary’s Drop Box, and will be used to post upcoming events and meetings.  Barbara has already filled in the dates she is aware of, and you can add your event and/or meeting dates, or make changes to dates that have already been posted.  Please put your initials next to any changes or addition you make, and PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE let Barbara know of the changes by leaving a note or calling the office.
